Used JD 4110

There's a John Deere dealer located nearby that has a used 4110 compact sitting on their lot. It has 274 hours and looks to be in good condition. It comes with a loader and a 60" mmm. I stopped by this morning and the dealer let me take it for a test drive. As I said, it looks almost new. The previous owner purchased it in 2003 and recently traded it in on a new 2320. The dealer said he would take $12,000 for it. Does this seem like a fair price? Thanks for your input.

When I was looking for my 2320, my dealer had a used 4110 on the lot. It had the 60"MMM and 110 hours, and NO FEL. They wanted $12K for it! So I would say that is very ballpark.

When you figure the $5500.00 in attachments it is a great price. I bought my 4110 and later purchased a mmm. Believe me those attachments are exxxxxxxpensive. It is a nice machine and a leap in advance from the 455. I thought 2k hours on the 455 was near the end but as I hear from others it is a good start. The 4x4 option makes the tractor along with the slightly larger frame and huge tires. A couple more attachments and it should be the last garden tractor I would have to buy.

The book value on that package is resale cash of $14,400/ trade premium $12,972. I think it's a very good price at $12,000.00.
