Used F3060 issues

Just bought a used 2002 F3060 with 72 mower and GCF-30H grass catcher with 2400 hours.
1. "Idle" is awfully fast - guessing 1500 RPM-ish and nuts at linkage would seem to indicate it is as set at the factory - no wrench marks on paint. Is that normal?
2. Lift seems to be erratic - sometimes normal and other times does not want to lift. Lever does not self center to neutral position- I wonder if that has caused a problem? Otherwise hydraulics seem fine.
3. I cannot find the grease point for "HST Neutral Shaft" from the pathetic illustration in the owners manual. Any help? [I think I have attached the page referenced.]

Don't think there is one. At least not on mine which is the newer model.

I used to have a F3060....It idled quite fast...think they set it high to prevent engine stall when engaging the mower..Never an issue with the lifting. Had about 2800hrs when I traded it.

Did you ever figure out what was wrong with the lift? I rebuilt mine but it seems to also work erratically and my mower drops on it own.

I just replaced my throttle cable on my 3680 (very similar to 3060) and thought it was easy to custom tailor idle.
