I have a set of torches and gauges that haven't been used in probably 15-20 years. Found a place that will swap out bottles so gas is not a problem. What are the chances of the rubber o-rings and associated rubber parts being dry rotted? I saw a place on the internet that will rebuild them. Is that a good option or should I just replace all. They will see infrequent use.

O-rings are cheap and should be the only rubber parts. Change em. Try a few settings on the regs and see if they hold. If so, Good to go. There are a lot of torch sets out there that are 25yrs old that work and get used daily. Depending on the brand, yours could be one of them.

My O/A set is a Linde W-200 from 1985 with welding and cutting tips. Still works fine.

How are the hoses?

I was in about the same position:
http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/welding/318494-old-tanks.html

But I got an obsolete torch with no tips available and no cutting attachment, the hoses were suspect, and the Craftsman regulators didn't look all that great. I bought a new Harris set.

Getting the lifetime lease on the tanks for $50.00 was where I figured the real value was. The new torch was peanuts compared to the cost of leasing tanks, or buying my own tanks.
