Just a few miles north and west of me are two old ghost towns - Waukon & Blue Stem. Both were grain elevator storage stops on old railroad spur lines and very small country towns, a long time ago. For that matter - all of Ea WA is littered with old grain elevator stops that were also small towns. Most are ghost towns now - The Arm, Slaughter Pen Bay, LaVista, Dusty, Ewan........ Look at an old map and they will define the extent of spur railroad lines.
