Uneven cut - gt2550

Hi I have a 2005 GT2550 with a "cyclone cut" deck. The problem that I have is that the middle of the cutting path is much higher than the sides. In other words, after cutting a straight path, there is a "hump" of higher grass left in the middle. I have checked that the blades are set at the same height.
I mow with the mulching plug in. On drier, shorter grass it is less noticeable, but on taller, lusher grass it is pretty unsightly. I already spend 2 hours mowing the 2 acres and don't want to have to double-mow to get rid of the stripes. Any suggestions?

Just a few ideas on what could be causing it..

Are any of the blades bent? Is the underside of the mower clean? I mean VERY little grass stuck to the bottom of the deck. Are you running the engine at full RPM? Are any spindle bearing worn? Did this happen last season?

Did you level the deck front to back?

It started 2 years ago, but then I had to have a landscaper mow last year due to family matters. After getting evrything ready to go over the last few weekends I mowed yesterday and said "oh yeah, I forgait about that."
I don't think I have a bent blade.
I see what you are saying about the front-to-back leveling. Because the center blade is set forward, if the deck is tilted up then the center would cut higher, correct? I'll check that out.

Ron - don't forget to check/adj both front and rear tires air pressures per your manual before measuring/tweaking your deck....
might also do a quick visual to make sure that center blade is not either badly dulled/worn or even mounted upside down...
