Unable to go back

Frequently after I read a post and hit the back button to go back to the previous page, it will not go back. I have to go to my favorites and click on TractorByNet and then go to the forum I want to view.
At the page bottom it will say "waiting for aniview.hs.llnwd.net..." when it won't go back.

I do not have this problem on other forums.

You didn't say what you are using, but on my computer, I never have to use the back button.

It is faster to open whatever you are clicking on in a new tab or new window, then just close (X) it when done and the previous page is there, it doesn't have to reload.

When I check "Today's Posts", I will open 9 or 10 new tabs, hit the space bar to bring up the next group, then hold "Control" and hit (9) to take me to the last new tab.

If there are any small pictures in the post, open all in new tabs while reading the post, then look at the pictures and leave them open until finished reading the thread. That way they are there to look at again if something comes up about it in the thread.

No problem with the 'back arrow' on my PC. I also use Chrome and Win10.

Happens to me from time to time. When it does, I right click on the back arrow and then choose where I want to go back to. Try it and you will see the offending google ad that is blocking you.

Here's a thread with an example. The example is a little extreme, usually the page I want to get to is on the list.

When it won't go back and I click on the Back Arrow, this is all I get.
