This is my first post here, but have been reading for several weeks. I am considering purchasing either the Dk-50 or Dk-65 for my mowing business (part time). The question I have concerns the power needed to turn 44x41.00-20 or 48x31.00-20 turf type tires. I mow in basically swamp type conditions. Not much water but bottomless mud. I need the large tires to but down a light as possible footprint. Mower will be a 6 ft. brush hogg type.

Will the avaliable power of the Dk-50 work in others opinion? Should I look strictly at the Dk-65? Thanks for any input...

If all you're going to be doing is using a 6' bush hog, I'd go with the DK 50. It should have plenty of power to turn the wider tires and spin the 'hog, and it will be lighter and more manueverable than the DK 65. I don't think that you could go too wrong either way though.

Take it easy
