Thinking of getting a Quick Hitch. Have Cat 1/2 tractor; and all four implements come close to the standard28" center to center lower lift dims.
But the vertical pin to pin dimension of both Cat1 and Cat2 Quick hitches seems to be 15" and change (some, like titan go from 14-17 1/2).

But my implement vertical pin to pin dimensions are all over the map:
Winch: 21"
Mower: 19.5
Rake: 15" or 18",
Blower: 20-3/4"

They're pretty name brand, too (Farmi, Alamo, Land Pride, Pronovost).

What's up with that? Do I need to build a custom adjustable top link bracket if I go down this road?

My Speeco quick hitch has an adjustable top hook....

Several of them do, but I've not found a CAT1 unit that adjusts to the above vertical dimensions. I checked out Speeco but can't even find dimensions.

99% chance the mower will not work with the quick hitch anyways,,,

so,, rather than fret, and reinvent the world,,
just get a set of Pat's Quick Hitch,, and enjoy life!!

Come to think of it, I'm always going to have to adjust the top link anyway, moving from one implement to another, so what's the big deal about foregoing the "quick" part of the top link with most of the other three point quick hitches. Thanks for the input.

Modify each implement (once) to fit one setting of QH dimensions...

Can you give each implement its own dedicated top link?

A quick note about the quick hitch I just bought from EA - the Speeco Cat2 HD. It's over 200 lbs of hitch, hurky for sure. Glad I had my HF engine crane to lift it up and engage the 3 points.
Thanks Travis!

Your next surprise will be that not all implements have the same pin width and wont fit the QH. I cant use my speeco with my rototiller or snow blower. Also watch out for PTO shaft interference with the speeco. And PTO shaft length.

X2 on modify everything to fit the hitch.

I went to a quick hitch long before I looked into the "CAT 1 standard" measurements and had modified several before I did. At this point I have ALL my stuff set with the top hook height where my quick hitch hook on the bottom two holes. The only time I remove the top hook on my quick hitch is to hook up my brush mower. I can actually use the top hook on it but I only put one pin in it so it swivels but cannot come unhooked. I use an adapter on my finish mower but I can use it with the top hook on since I have it set low to begin with.

In hindsight I might have set the quick hitch to the "CAT 1 standard" before modding my equipment but I also think my setting has an advantage for using the adapter when needed.

I haven't run into anything not being standard cat 1 width. My brush mower shaft was too short so I bought a extender to use with it.

I have added cat 1 to 2 and cat 2 to 3 sleeves on all my lift pins. All my top pins have cat 1 to 2 sleeves on them. They are less expensive than the spacers being sold for quick hitch use and having them on all my equipment means I don't have to move anything around.
