I just bought a used tz22da with a 60" deck for mowing. My property is very hilly and steep. I mowed for one day and all was fine. Today I mowed and it lost some power whenever I turned uphill. Could this be a fuel filter issue?

Might be water in the bottom of the tank. Some fuel pickup tubes are not at the lowest point for this reason. Also make sure the oil is up to where it should be. You could be losing oil pressure going uphill.

By oil pressure, do you mean hydraulic oil?

Most of the TZ series tractors had an inline fuel filter behind the left rear tire. Has that been changed lately? Most owners didn't know it was there until fuel starvation problems came up. As I recall the best way to access it is by removing the tire.

By lost some power do you mean the rpm dropped? Was your throttle still opened all the way? I had a problem on my TZ18 where while mowing, the throttle lever would back off. I had to adjust the cable and cable routing to stop it from doing this.

If that is not it, change both fuel filters, and check your air filter.
