The TYM T264 pull this heavy 5ft tiller through virgin soil. I was very pleased with how it handled it. The T264 acts more like a 30hp tractor.

Good to here you are pleased with the TYM. The T264 is part of the K2 family as Known to TYM. Past models where T233 (23hp),T273 (27hp),T293 (29hp),and T234 (24.4hp) THE T234 was the first teir 4 model under 25hp of the K2 family. It actually was the same tractor as the T293 just derated. The new Kukje eng. is rated also at 24hp and @ 2600 rpm, which is pto speed. Our dealership has over 12 years history with this tractor and its been a great little tractor. We also have been around the Kukje eng as long and with minimal problems, I am glad to see this engine in the K2. The old Mitsubishi was also a great eng. but with Tym owning Kukje machinery now they are among of only a few that build eng and tractor. So Your comment of it acting like a 30hp. Well it was a small 29hp once and it is very capable. Its not in the larger class of a older kioti ck30 (or new ck2610) or new Holland tc30. It is smaller and weighs less than those but in its class it performs very well. I am looking forward to see how this tractor performs for you. The only thing I wish was different is it is to bad the tire are not filled. that would impress you more with the lift cap.and pulling. Not like Im telling you something you don't know. I always fill the rear tire on every tractor loader we sell, no choice its a safety issue. Let us know if there is any thing we can help you with and put that demo tractor to work and work it like a 30hp. Hope you enjoy and be carefull.

It is GREAT to have dealers posting.

If you paragraph it would be easier to assimilate your information.

I agree on the loaded tires. This is just a demo tractor on my YouTube Channel. TYM is looking to demo a tractor long term, so I would set it up properly. I look forward to showing what TYM can do. I am impressed to this point. Such a good brand at a good price. TYM Tractor T264 5FT Rural King RK Tiller RK Review Demo Part 3 - YouTube

It’s tough to watch reviews from folks that hype one brand, then switch to hype another brand because they are getting either paid more or more equipment. Just IMHO....

I am not a dealer. I just have a YouTube channel. TYM agreed to let me demo the tractor.

I really don't have to agree. It is a high clay packed soil. About as hard as you get.
Looks like it's doing a pretty good job, but you have to admit, that's some pretty easy to till soil.

TYM has not paid me one cent. I just demo the equipment and tell you what I think. I am not brand loyal. I can even like two brands at the same time. I can chew gum and walk at the same time too. Just because I don't demo LS any longer doesn't mean I feel any different about them. You seem very jaded. There are many great Tractor brands.

No, you don't have to agree with me, but I've tilled hundreds of acres of clay and I have something like 2,000 acres of tilling under my belt. (I do this for hire)

I will guarantee you, if it's hard packed clay "About as hard as you get", THAT tiller would in NO way even till it! I've been there done that, with a Howard tiller, that's nearly twice the weight of your tiller and more aggressive, and it didn't want to penetrate hard packed "about as hard as you can get" clay.

I appreciate all the videos! On the hinge of getting a t234 or t264. Drove both and was impressed. Using the loader and digging in I noticed you can hit what must be the overpressure/shutoff on the hydrostatic it seems? I mean I was pushing against immovable dirt. I'm used to a geared tractor that will just go til it dies or spin the wheels. Is this how hydrostatic drives work?

Hi everyone, newbie here. I just purchased my first tractor back in January and chose the T264 with cab, the dealer even filed the rear tires and installed the rear hydraulic remotes. The reason I chose it was it seemed to have plenty of power, would pickup most everything around my place and I loved the throttle control with the hydro foot pedals. Also it was there only tractor I could find in the horse power range with factory cab.

Thanks for the video and info Tony. Don't sweat the brand loyal folks... they gave the Morgans grief about his RK stuff too. It's perfectly fine to like multiple brands...

If folks would be honest with themselves, the majority of these brands make fine tractors, it really comes down to dealer support. My JD dealer is great and they had a deal I couldn't pass up on my 1023E; but I could have just as easily went Massey or Kubota (great dealers in my area). I would have looked at TYM closer but the nearest dealer is 75+ miles away and he's selling them out of his garage basically. My dad on the other hand, just bought a T494 and his dealer has been fantastic for him so far.

Keep doing what you're doing, I hope TYM realizes how great a tool Youtube can be for them to have real folks use their products and SHOW people how well they work. I wish Kyoti and Massey would get on board with that idea because I'd love to see their products used like you and the Morgans are using your equipment.

Plus it gives me ideas on what to buy next...my finance committee dislikes it however :)

That is how most all work in low range. It will bog the engine down or spin the wheels.

I am glad you have so much tilling under you belt, but you are still wrong. This is good old red clay. That is why all of the clay companies around here mine it by the train loads. I bet they know a bit more than you. I bet growing up in a clay community, I might know more than you too. There is even a brick factory about 20 miles from this spot. There are clay mines all around us. I am pretty sure they would not call it mining clay, unless, they were-mining clay. Happy tilling Mr. for hire!
