TYM 603

[Lowcountry Rebel]

Looking at a 2014 TYM 603, shuttle shift 4wd with loader and heavy duty bush hog, under 500 hours, for sale for $14,000, I have a dealer 50 miles away.
I test drove it and everything seems fine except it's a little stubborn about going into 4wd, gotta play with it a little.
Can anyone give me some info about this model.
I can't seem to find much info on it.

The T-603 is a nice tractor. It should have a self leveling loader. They have a CAT/Perkins diesel in them. They came in both open station and cab. They had the older style rear fenders with black plastic on the outside of them and the cab models had the older cab design. Not sure why TYM never updated the T-603 like they did the T-503 and T-723. They tend to crack, the black plastic that is. Sounds like a good deal. Go to TYM’s website. Go to the tractors, scroll down to the bottom of that page and click on Tier 3 tractors. If you get it you can print up an owners manual. Here is the link below. They don’t give the loaders specs on the website, if my memory serves me correctly it should lift around 2900 lbs to full height.

Congratulations, sounds like a great deal!

IRT your early comment about the 4 wheel drive engagement and disengagement being "stubborn", my 2010 T503 was the same, just make sure you have the clutch depressed.

Note that I used the word "was"... That's because I lost 4 wheel drive just yesterday. Still trying to figure out what is going on before I end up taking it into my favored shop which is a 1.5 hour drive one way.
