Hi everybody need help if you can. Like I said I have a TYM 353 with hydro static drive, last night I lost forward and reverse. Push peddle to floor nothing happens either way. I looked under at the linkage but I must have missed something, everything looks hook up. Has anybody had this problem before, If so please let me know. Thanks for any help you can give me. Mark

I might be stating the obvious but are you still in gear? My 353 occasionally will slip out of gear.

Not familiar with the 353, so just guessing - 1. not quite in high or low range (stuck in between) 2. drive shaft and or u-joints broken 3. low fluid or plugged filter.
Had some drive shaft problems with my 273 but that would be pretty obvious when it went.

Thanks everybody for your help. Found out what happen. Farther under neighteh the tractor just in front of the trans. filter there is a adjustable shift rod it came loose. Needed a nut to fit it. Saved over 200.00 thanks again
