My spouse works for the Fed and said the same thing. The FCC is into big potatoes not small peanuts. She scoffed at the license fee and said "bereaucratic overindulgence at it's best" /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

By the way, the radio's work very well for our farm usage. I have explicit instructions to carry mine with me at all times when outside so that I can answer my wife at any time. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I think we all bought the model that Henro was talking about. It says 2-way radio on the package, but the wife says it is meant to be 1-way.

I wont complain, I may have only got a one way radio but I also got a tractor in the same deal.
