Oil & Fuel Turning upthe Fuel!

Sorry couldn't find anything through a simple search. Does anyone have any instructions on how to turn up the fuel on a D722? The pump looks very similar to my Z600 in my BX1500.

I should explain a little more, I bought a used Kubota D722 motor it was an old Onan Generator motor that was used very little. I am in the process of machineing a diesel smart turbo charger for the D722. The application is unknown at this time but there is no reason to turbo charge it if I can't increase the fuel to it.

I know all the disclaimers, as this is simply a 'play' motor.

Just adding a turbo without pump work shouldn't increase HP? I mean a diesel already runs 'lean'.

Well I have a new plate machined and a pyrometer installed, Oil lines are run and I am planning on firing up my D722 on a makeshift stand this weekend. I'm still wrestling with what type of boost I should supply. Any suggestions? As it appears that the stock wastegate maybe good down to about 6psi. BTW I am using a turbo off a 600cc Smart diesel.

On that motor the fuel stop should come out of the front cover. If it's OEM it will have the lead seal on it. Generally backing the screw out will give the rack more room to travel. On the ones I worked on the timing was generally advanced a bit to. Keep an eye on the exhaust temps if you run full load without a break.
