Turning radius for BX1500/2200?

Hi, do you guys know the turning radius for the BX1500 and the BX2200? I am shocked by the advertised turning radius of the JD2210. Their website says the JD2210 turning radius is 7.5 feet!

How does the BX stack up?

My bx22 has a 7.5' min. turning radius also.

I gasped at the 7.5 foot turning radius also. Now that I have used my BX for five months it is not the issue that I thought it would be. In fact it handles very nicely around shrubs and other obstacles.

There are several older threads on this under Kubota. The turning radious for the tractors is being measured differently from that of your riding mower, tractor styled though it may be. The actual uncut radius using a 60 inch MMM on a BX is about 32 inches or so I think, yeah, that huge deck on the outside and the outer front wheel may scribe an arc nearly 7 feet or so in diameter. These tractors are actually very manuverable especially given their size. I suspect you will find the JD/Yanamar 2210 unit equally manuverable to the Kubota BX 2200.J
