I was wondering if you have the same species we have here; it looks like the markings on the tail are a bit different, but that's all I could see right off.

The tail feathers - that was what I noticed in DJ's picture. I got a picture of our Ea WA turkeys. They look like 2Lanes turkeys. DJ's must be a different species.

Is that a bearded hen? We do see them occasionally.
