turf tire

I was brush hoging and ran my tire over a 5/8" rod and I thouht that was a shock until I looked for a new tire. Local John Deere (55 miles away) does't have one and doesn't know where to get one. I also checked all other compact tractor dealers on my drive,Case, New Holland, no one has one or knows where to get one. Checked local tire dealers, 6 weeks delevery and here's the real shock $800.00 delevered. Anyone know where to get a :Titan Multi trac c/s 44X18.00 - 20 NHS 4 ply rating, tubeless?

Hi, anyway they can patch that tire then tube it? Not plug it, put a thick rubber patch on the inside. I once ran over a turned over spike harrow , this is how I found out about patching tractor wheels.

I had to patch and tube my turf tire for same reason couldn't get one anywhere and very expensive to ship!!! 

Thanks for the ideas. I did get a tire shop to patch it but they didn't have a tube big enough for it, but I will be mowing hay tommorow.

Good to here your back on the tractor seat. That repair should have been a minimal cost compared to a new tire. A real good patch job should hold air.
