I was looking at TurboCAD 2D/3D at Office Max. I'm looking for something to draw up my house, then start drawing ideas for an addition. Has anyone used this? It's normally $30 on sale for $20. I know $20 isn't much, so maybe I shouldn't expect to get much?

I already have a copy of Visio which allows me to draw up floor plans. What I'm looking for now is something to draw up the house in both 2D and 3D from the outside with colors so I can see what different colors of siding will look like, etc.

Do a search for IntelliCAD. This was developed by the same folks who created Visio (great program..VISIO...).

Anyway, Visio gave the source code away. I believe it can still be downloaded for free, but I can't remember where.

If you do an internet search you can download the 2D for free.
