Have Ya thought about an Optima yellow-top?

While the return policy from Sears is great, I find having a battery get marginal while out rock crawling to be a pain... I used to run the rocks around here. Breaking down out there is really a pain.

My B-in-Law run's two Yellow Tops in his CJ7. He had a power line to his winch wear through both the wire jacket and the rubber body grommet while playing on the slabs between Little Sluice box and Buck Island(Rubicon). It made a total short and massive discharge. They got the main cable disconnected, and made repairs. One battery was total discharge. They got it fired up, it recharged, and the battery ended up lasting over 8 years. This was with normal use, and additional heavy winch use.

I haven't looked at the Optimas yet although Sams has started carrying some versions not sure if yellow or not. The use of the jeep is predominantly on our ranch so if a problem occurs it just a matter of getting one of the other 4wds or the tractor to get it. I do hate walking with a battery it seems like every time I do I can just shuck my jeans into the trash because the first time they get washed it looks like a grenade blew up in my pocket.
