I can't tell what is wrong with your troybilts from you message but I owned a horse model for about 20 years and found it was easy to work on. Check with your nearest Troybilt dealer/service center to get parts. Most repairs that you would probably need can be done by yourself. The Troybilt owners manuals are very helpful with clear explainations of what to do and lots of pictures showing how to. If you haven't got the owners manuals that would be the first thing I'd recommend you get.
