Troubleshooting A JD 955

I have a jd955 about 20 years old I guess. I have had it several years Last year it began whining when you pushed the accelerator and seemed to lose power I couldn't pull some of my hills with any kind of load. Today it started fine but when I push the accelerator nothing,the lift arms don't move and my wagon which has a hydraulic lift does not lift either. This has a hydraulic clutch but nothing happens when you push the accelerator. The hydraulic fluid is full. Transmission fluid is full. Just don't know where to start. Parts are incredibly difficult to get over here for this make/model. Been looking 1 1/2 years for a mower deck for one of these to show up somewhere. Not available over here. Can anyone help me out? Not sure on your model ,but most have a filter and/or screen somewhere in the hydraulic system that may be restricting the flow. Also could be the hydraulic pump not working.
