Triangle sign on bolt head

Hi there,

I need to replace a bolt and all I got is a triangle sign on the bolt head with 6 lines ae shown on my attachment. Was wondering if anyone knows what the triangle means?

Thanks.... I did read about this thread but i couldn't locate any manufacturer on the list given.... so 100% the triangle meant manufacturer and not other source of it's properties?

It's a grade 8 bolt made by the Illuminati .

Definitely a grade 8, but can't vouch for Italian origin.......

It's an old Egyptian bolt used to hold the pyramids together. Very rare and valuable...

Actually the triangle means that it is a slow moving bolt.....

By now, you know it's a Grade 8.

One thing you do want to watch for is counterfeit Grade 8's. There was a real problem with this a few years ago. I believe they were from china, but other countries (india?) may have been involved too.

The Triangle means it is a Close Tolerance bolt .
