Transplanting a few trees over the weekend

Transplanted another dozen or so 20' tp 30' spruce at the weekend ranch. I have moved about 60 or so over the last four years with only 5-10 percent mortality.
Helps to have a big TLB to move them but the little 3240 sure does make the clean up a joy.

It amazes me how some trees can be moved or dug out. In my area, you could never move a tree that size and get it to live with that method. But here the ground is much harder, drier and the roots deeper. Many people on TBN describe about pushing small trees over with FEL. Just can't do that here. Beautiful tree. Nice job.
