Tram pump issues?

I've mentioned this before, but it is worth mentioning every time....

If you disconnect any hydraulic hoses or open any ports, be prepared to plug them. You can lose a tremendous amount of fliud to your garage floor overnight if a hose is left dangling or a port is left open. There's 10 gallons in there. ;)

The full 10 gallons wont end up on the floor, just most of it.

Indeed. Just got home from work and I stopped on the way to get some plugs.

Terry says cracked cam plate. Pump repaired and on its way back... At least it was a quick turn-around.

Well, well.... Unfortunately I have to bump this thread to the top.

I was turning over the compost pile with the bucket and heard a snap from the back. No drive, but the aux circuit works, so I figured it wasn't the input shaft to the pumps. Pulled the tram pump out and hear all kinds of rattling inside....

450 hours on the machine, 270 hours since the pump was rebuilt by PT. Off to Tazwell again

This is what I was able to work out of the pump:

Oh boy, ya that doesn't look good for the pump. I think those parts should be inside, and probably not so many of them.
