Is it better to load the tractor on backward or forward? I will have the bucket and the 5' rotary cutter on it. I have a 20' flatbed, last two feet dovetailed. Should I put blocks under the rear of the trailer to support it?

If you have a canopy definitly backward. I don't have one so I load my tractor forward because all the weight of the backhoe is over the double axles. My trailer has support legs (adjustable in height). I recommend it because it saves some stress on the hitch when you load/unload.

If you have a chance, post a pic of your trailer. I like trailers.
