Trailer storage

My enclosed trailer is 24' inside so I have my Polaris ATV, JD riding mower, and 79 Vette stored in mine. My garage has a Camaro, 49 Chevy 1 1/2T truck, and my LS tractor. I need more garage space. Gotta sell some things this spring to cut back on the toys.[/QUOTE]

Do you give tours?

My wife's 79 Nova fits easily on a 16' tandem trailer...Problem is the trailer eats up at least 19' of floor to get the door down..Might be even a foot more ---My garage is 48' deep but I have the Nova, the RTV100 and a Chevelle in the back with some walk room so I assume the measurements...A 16 footer doesn't look that big till you put it inside sadly. My trailers live outside much to my chagrin. Too many tools (not toys) but none of them leaving at this point.:D

I keep the outside trailers clean, waxed, the tires covered and the deck stained with high end opaque material. So far, so good.

The enclosed trailer idea one beat around but ended up with a 2 bay shed to keep the ATV, ZTR and yard stuff. Less inspections and maintenance.

I'll give tours but only to toy buyers.

I can't build on and the enclosed trailer would be great, but I live in the burbs and the wife hates looking at stuff. She doesn't even like my truck out there unless it is clean (and that almost never happens). Trying to keep this as low key as I can. Lol.

Well, it's pretty clear then. You only have one choice.... Move to the country on acreage with outbuildings :D

I was going to suggest the storage lift too...

Put up an enclosed carport? Then the trailer is out of sight and she can pick the color :D

In the first post you said the truck was not cutting it in the comfort department. Instead of an SUV and a trailer why not buy a new truck? The newer ones are REALLY comfortable, especially the higher models. For the cost of a good SUV and trailer you could get a nice truck and still have the bed to haul things.

New trucks are cheaper than new SUV's too.

The height should not be a problem. I think they are 10 ft in the garage.

Better check the width also. My little 7x14 utility trailer won't back into my 8' wide garage door openings because of the tires/fenders.

Neighbor has the same problem..His 82"x14' barely, and I mean barely fits through the door.
