Trailer Size?

I guess the golden rule of equipment of all kinds is this....IT CAN HURT YOU IN A HURRY IF YOU DON'T WATCH WHAT YOU ARE DOING.

Your trailer size is fine as you described. As for the rear drop problem when loading...I installed a regular swing-up tongue jack on each rear side of the trailer that i got at Harbor frght or Northern for about 20 bucks ea. I swing up when loaded and they work great.
