trailer lift mods

I am adding this cheap and manual lift crane where its seen here on the trailer to assist with implement moving. Seems I'll mount it a bit higher and with a temporary "drop in" weldment so it will only be there when needed. What do you think?? I'll post more pics when I get into thew job.

I assume you are thinking of some jack stands/outriggers to help stabilize the pick? Looks like a good idea. However I can use my tractors to load items most times. Jon

Get one of these. Weld the jack mount near the crane mount. Put it on and crank it down when needed.

Get another mount to use the jack near the end on the trailer to keep it from tipping down when loading something heavy.

No I'm not. An max extension its lift is only like 250lbs but all the implements we put on it aren't all that heavy anyway.
