Please allow me to intruduce myself. 50 y/o, Always owned some type of diesel. I've had my Ford 2810 since 1996. I bought it from my uncle (234 hours) to landscape the yard of the new home we built. I bought the 96 Dodge 3500 in 2000 because I knew it had a proven engine. NO problems with the running gear. Wish I could say the same for the cab. LOL
The Kubota ZD 326 came home after I allowed my wife to operate a 48" husqvarna ZTR on one misty afternoon. I borrowed it from work and trailered it home. Wife knew it was on its way to the house. When I arrived she met me outside and was already on the trailer when I got to it. Long story short, she mowed one wet acre in 50 minutes. That acre had been taking me 75 minutes using our Ford 2810 pulling a 5' finish mower. Bought the Kubota ZD326 a month later. It's nice,quite,comfortable,heavy and trouble free. I want to add that it uses 0.65 gallons of diesel per hour at 80% throttle. The Ford uses little over a gallon per hour.
My expertice is 31 years on the job as water treatment plant maintenance/operator ,electricity and light diesel repair.
