Same as some others, I live at the end of 1000' driveway with no reason to be there except visit me.

I toyed with the idea of GPS trackers, and probably will get around to it, but someone would really need to have my equipment to risk the consequences. Cops are 45 minutes away, if I am lucky. So I choose to not rely on luck, but rather my friends Smith, Wesson, Gaston and some Italians.

My CUT had a safety switch on the selector that was inoperative.
It sported a male and female connector that when connected bypassed that switch. When connected it completes the circuit and tractor will start so whenever I park it I simply disconnect the mated connectors and that inhibits starting.
LOL, so reliable that I don't even bother to remove my key.
Shucks a thief would have to have the shop manual to discover my safety trick. (or a flatbed and winch)
