Tractor Suppy sale?

Hi everyone.

I am finally ready to buy a log splitter and I think that I've settled on the 28 ton from TSC.

My question is, does TSC have a big sale around Labor Day? I vaguely remember getting 10% off coupons for that weekend but I'm not completely sure.

I know that I see a lot of threads on TBN where folks got good deals based on timing from TSC.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I have bought a few implements from TSC. Each time I was able to get a discount by buying on a Tue night sale, a coupon, OR by asking the Manager for a discount. They normally have the ability to give a discount on many of the items.

i.e.: What do I need to do to get a better price on this log splitter? (it never hurts to ask )

Log splitter sales at TSC here tend to be best in the spring when they are trying to reduce inventory before summer. In the fall, it would seem to not be good timing for a sale because demand is higher as winter approaches.

They regularly send me 10% off coupons in the mail. Max discount $100. I have one right now.
