Tractor suggestions for primarily snowblowing a long, steep, windy driveway?

Turns out CalG was correct. I measured with that app and the steepest spot was 20 degrees shown in the photo I posted. Just beyond that is only 15 degrees. About half of what I was told. Handy app, thanks for the recommendation.

20 degrees is 35+ percent grade....still very steep when icy.

Not very impressive, I have not used a tractor mounted snowblower and only done minimal with a walk behind.

I do know with that amount of snow any of my tractors and blades or even the old plow trucks would have done that faster and cleaner.

Do you guys think a 2013 husqvarna GT 48XLS with a 48" snowblower would handle this task? Tractor has 27HP. Seems too cheap to do what I want, but then again, I know nothing about tractors.

A lot of those Husqvarna’s have problems with the frames bending. Also, a lawn mower type 2 wheel drive will probably have troubles pushing the snowblower back up the hills, without a lot of spinning. Where are you located ?

I expect that it would do the job, lets see the first pass would be 48" wide, the rest would be considerable less I would expect, maybe 30-36 inches.
So haw many passes do you wish to make?
Also they most likely will all have to be made working down hill,
also I expect that chains will be required to climb back up your hill.
Six to eight passes at what 3 mph out in the cold, windy, and wet weather, would be a few hours of time.
If you don't mind getting cold and wet and taking a long time to do the job, enjoy.
Also I wouldn't expect that unit to last more then a few years.
My quarter mile drive with an "S" turn takes about an hour at least with 8 and 10 foot blades,
the corners take quite awhile to push out as they are so tight that plowing around them doesn't work well.

I like the idea of a side by side cabbed with a blower and it's own motor, warmth, a capable 4x4 UTV that you can chain up, light on pavement, it's good math IMO and I have considered that option..

It's down to the pavement. How much more do you want it to do? The OP already has a gator that makes it up and down his steep paved drive. Many people are telling him to get a tractor and chains. He has a small budget. Why add a tractor to the mix if he could just add a blower to the gator?
