I am putting my NH TC30 in storage for the next few months... in a shipping container.

Are those solar battey chargers effective for longer periods of time? ... or should I remove the battery and take it home with me and put it on a charger.

Is there anything else I should do to "winterize" it?

Thanks

Take the battery out and use a battery charger on the lowest setting and when the battery is charged the red charging lite will change to green...HF should have the battery charger you will need...although I have not tried a solar type charger...it may keep a battery charged just remember on cloudy days these gadgets don't work a 100%......Ampa :)

I think I'd add some fogging oil to the fuel along with a good biocide and fuel conditioner.. make sur ethe coolant was good.. and drain any water traps.

would like to add that now's a good time to change the crankcase oil too.
