Tractor saves life!

from the Times Herald Record, in the Hudson Valley,
a woman was saved by her JD tractor as the garage
roof collapsed onto her, but the tractor gave her some
protection.
The sad part about the story is that her husband had
a heart attack later that same day and has passed.

Thats a strange, tragic story. You would think the newspaper could have came up with a headline that wasn't quite so harsh sounding?

What a sad day for this family. It will no doubt encourage people to keep the snos off their roofs where necessary.

Good Afternoon Dutch,
Im happy she made it, but its very sad to hear about her husband passing ! They were probablly married many years, and thats going to be very difficult for her !

The irony is the tractor probablly got a few minor scratches !

Well he may have but I kind of doubt it, Im thinking that he was more concerned with the well being of his wife rather than the tractor.

Im just saying that a metal object will stand up better to a roof collapse opposed to the human body !
