Tractor Portraits

The first picture is my first tractor, Old Blue, being driven by my best friend and bride. By the way that field behind the fenceline is now full of houses. Darn!
The second picture is my new tractor. The Critter, the day I brought it home, 11 November 2003.
If anyone is interested, Old Blue with a 6' boxblade is now for sale, engine rebuilt 2005, carb rebuilt this year.

Here is my first and only tractor which I acquired the day after Thanksgiving:

I got it primarily for snowblowing but I have dreamed up some other jobs for it.

Isn't it amazing how many jobs you can think up once you get a nice piece of equipment that is fun to use.

Here are some pictures of some of the Allis Chalmers tractors that I restored a few years ago.
The first is a D12 with an Allied loader.
Second are a pair of D10's
Last is a D15 with wheel weights and a grilll guard.

Here's another. Not my tractor but I took the pic. It's my Brother-in-Law's Oliver which he just got before we visited them over Thanksgiving. His grandfather had one and his dad learned to drive on it. Then he learned to drive on it and now he wants his son to learn to drive on it. This is not the same tractor as his grandfathers but the same model. I did have a chance to drive it and it was a thrill.
