I visited the kioti dealer that we discussing. I believe I'm hooked! The CK20 hst is, in my opinion, superior to the kubota equivalent that I have been considering, and the best part is that he is at least $1200 cheaper.
As for the question about 4wd, because of the abundance of loose soil and the "you never know factor", I wouldn't go w/
anything but all-wheel. Tow trucks can get expensive after a while.
