Tractor dies when trying to go forward or reverse

Hi, wondering if anyone on here may know the answer to this. I ha a LS 3032HST tractor that keeps dying. It would start up fine. Issue is when I depress a pedal to go forward or reverse that it would die. I've made sure that parking brake is off. Any thoughts on what else I can try or look at?

Parking brake light on dash comes on and off depending?
Seat switch needs to made (butt in seat) when you press pedal. Might try to jumper switch to test.

Check seat switch and wiring. It will shut off if it thinks you are off the seat when pushing the pedals

I was able to go back out and look under the seat again but this time removing the protective sleeve on the wires. Sure enough, the wires had been pinched and severed.
