My first project.....my grandmother had some old clothes line poles that my grandpa put down years ago. She wanted to pull em up....so I did /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Also had my first accident. Just wasn't watching /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif and hit the side of our shop with the front loader. Figured my Dad would go ape **** when he saw it but he was cool about it, lol.

Well that's coming out of your allowance! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Sweet machine - mine's due in a week from Thursday. Can't wait to join all you "New 'Bota" owners with some pics of my own.

Congrats!

Hey Jarrett,

Congrats & sympathy too. Nice toy.

Got my new BX22 the last week of April & I'm really happy with it.

What part of LA are you in?

Jarrett,
If you get a chance, could you measure the length of the tractor with the FEL and Box Blade attached. I'm looking to order a Cover-It for storage and want to be sure to get one long enough.
Thanks.

Thanks. I'm from Gonzales, just south of Baton Rouge.

I think it's about 17ft, but I can check again. My Dad measured it today to see how it would fit on our 16' trailer. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Wow, you got a big boy. Hey what's that orange rod that sticks up on the side of the FEL? I have done some collateral damage with my FEL also, thankfully, so far it's just some trees.

LOL, Frank

That's the bucket level indicator to show what angle the bucket is curled at.

Sure did. I know the owner's son pretty well from college and when I started looking for a tractor he was the first person I talked to about it. They're really great people over there.

BTW, here are the specs:
L3130 DT FWD
R4's
LA513 Loader w/quick attach bucket
Woods GB60 Box Blade

I measured the length of the tractor today. It's 16'6" from the tip of the bucket (sitting flat) to the tip of the rear blade on the box.

Big Thank You!

I had a moment a work today and I measure the wheelbase on the photo you posted, then measured the length of everything in the photo. I then took the actual measurements from the Kubota brochure and used them to convert the numbers from your photos. I figured I would be within a couple of inches. Came out to 16 feet and 7 inches in my estimation - not bad! See, you really do need algebra in life! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Nice to know the REAL deal though! Once again a big thank you!

Just bought the same setup with R-1 tires. I live so close I actually drove mine home. They've been real good to deal with.

You're welcome. That sounds like something I would do. Dig back into my old calculus and engineering courses and try to calculate stuff from a pic, lol.

Cool, that would have been fun driving mine home on I-12, lol.
