Yes, same here. Too much work, not enough fun. We have had too much rain and everything is growing like some horror story over growth. Need to cut the fields down.

I watched your videos awhile back, thoroughly impressed. That had to have taken a lot of time and money to build. Came out amazing. I'll have to go through this thread.

That's a nice looking dump trailer. Any more information on that or is it just a standard trailer?

It took about a year to build it. Trailer is standardized to 5 tons but we upgraded it with truck tires so it can withstand up to 8 tones without a problem. Chasis dimensions are 2 x 4 x 0.9 meters

Did you build any of the sub frame or cylinder mount? I'm thinking of building a dump trailer on a beefed up hay wagon and just looking for ideas.

I built a tandem trailer also out of old hay wagon. Added a second axle and wheels, beefed up the subframe, made cylinder mounts and the box. It only tips backward but it's ok.

Well, because of "higher goals" (moving to our new house) rk found a new owner, but there is a rk 600 in cad development, so when I catch some time ($$$) there will be a new project

There must be more details to this. Did you come out OK on the money side so you have enough to build another? What are the new owner's intentions with the backhoe? Is he a commercial operator or a farmer or? What changes or improvements will you make on the new one?

Well, I didn't get what he was really worth but without those coins we would not move to our new house so I agreed to less for a good goal. There will be some major improvements. Here are few: sideshift frame, dual nimco joysticks with electrical diverter valves (no more foot pedals), twin boom, jaw bucket to replace hydraulic thumb...etc
