That's one impressive bucket. I sure like the way it separates the clamping function from the bucket rotation. Not being able to separate those two motions is the downside of a traditional BH thumb. Your's seems like a better way to do it. I hope you are patenting some of these designs.
Also noticed that the Aux. Hyd. outputs changed sides. And that reminds me that I wanted to ask what your preference was for size and quick connector type. On the JD310 those aux connectors are dash 12 size - which is 5/8" hose and fitting flow diameter. Yours look like a similar size.

I've done a number of patents. There's a popular idea that patents only apply to major earth-shaking inventions. Those are wonderful, but that is not the only way it works.
A patent exists to reward a person for publishing an improvement to the old way of doing things. It can be as simple as a lever and pivot..or a new way to polarize glass. But to earn a patent it has to not only be an improvement, it also has to be new and unique i.e. not already in common use. You can't patent a twist-top jar lid just because it never has been patented; it is already in common use.
So the trick is to find something unique about a new design...some unique change you've made to make it better. Just looking at Freaky's work this last decade, it wouldn't surprise me if some of it qualifies. I wouldn't know just what, but he would. Then that change is patentable.
Bottom line is a patent doesn't have to apply to the whole device, any improvement will do.

From my courses the most important thing about a patent is having the lawyers to aggressively litigate against anyone coming close to violating it.

Does your backhoe run off a single gear pump? The video shows very smooth operation, even with the outriggers up. Nice.
What is an "em" valve?
Hydraulic system is run by 2 hydraulic gear pumps, each with 50 cc/rev and 2 hydraulic valves with 80 liters/minute max flow. Controls are logically divided to achieve maximum productivity, so my left joystick has commands: boom rotation, boom lift/lower and one switch to extend 2nd boom. My right control commands: stick extend/retract, bucket, and switch diverts bucket open/close. EM or electromagnetic flow diverter valve 6/2; 2 lines in, 4 out, switchable with a press of a button on the joystick
Btw, video shows boom reach and movement at half throttle, machine can move about 3 times faster when working when you get used to commands

That is certainly a popular modern way to think about the value of a patent - although rather self-serving.
The "patent for profit" motive is a legal and financial interpretation. There is opportunity - but no requirement - for profit in a patent.
Another way would be to consider that a patent provides a convenient standard format for publishing beneficial ideas.
The original idea behind a patent seems to me to be an attempt to blend educational & profit motives.

Did you invent them, or did you file them ?
My development at a previous employer was patented. The patent attorney asked to supply a description, to which he only added periods and commas: I literally wrote the patent. He charged 7000 Euro. AFAIK filing it at the national patent office sets you back only 1000 to 1200 Euro, which is a more realistic fee if it has to come from private savings, instead of from a couple of million in business turnover.
I am now working on a design which will be tested at my mates farm this autumn and spring in secrecy. How does filing a patent work ? That patent attorneys best quality was protecting his own job, the last time i dealt with one, so i dont think they are going to teach this ape how to climb...
