Tractor -> Acreage Ratio

   / Tractor -> Acreage Ratio #41
I am feeling a whole lot better about my recent purchase - 33 HP Mahindra on 2.75 acres = 12 HP/Acre. I live in south texas, but I also have 12 acres in Colorado, just visited this weekend and started thinking "Dang, i need my tractor here to start cutting in a driveway". Anyone make a PTO transporter?

hmmmm not sure how I missed this...

But let's see;; I actually own 1.3 acres... but maintain the driveway 15 feet wide by 1/2 mile... gots lots of curves...
so 34 hp.. /~2 = 17 hp per acre...

hmmm....

guess I am doing good!

relatively speaking......:laughing::laughing::laughing::laughing::laughing:

GX 255 = 20 hp

3520 = 37.5 hp

Husky Chainsaw = 3.2 hp

26.97 hp per Acre

Guess I need some additional acreage?:laughing:

Now now Nru... You cannot count your chainsaw unless you can ride it... Then we have to debate if it should have a cab or open station, then what tires....

ROFL! BUT, you did forget.....we also need to debate Gear vs Hydro. Everyone knows if you're cutting big trees a gear drive chainsaw is the way to go. And if you do alot of small tree/brush cutting a Hydro saw might be better.

Once we get all that nailed down, we can then discuss OEM vs Aftermarket Hydraulic oils. :laughing:
