I have a bobcat 773 F ser#509645966 the traction lock has burnt out twice in 3 weeks . It blows the 25amp fuse for the brake system and I also have a 30amp fuse blown for the pwm system . does anyone know where I can get a READABLE wiring diagram of the brake system wiring ,solenoid,relays and timers for these systems that you can read . any ideas on were to start looking to fine the problem ? The problem started one day when I got in the bobcat would not move started checking for the problem . I looked for a bad wire but no look . Blew a few fuses while running down the trouble replaced the lock solenoid and fuse everything worked great . THEN it happen again it has burnt out the new solenoid an the fuse blew again . BACK TO SQUARE ONE . This time I notice I have a fuse for the pwm blown (whatever that is ) lord have mercy . someone help if you have any idea whats wrong . THANK YOU VERY MUCH IN ADVANCE LARRY

Take the old brake solenoid cut off the plug and make a tester with 2 12v bulbs. add a little extra wire so the bulbs are in the cab. When you go through the procedure one bulb should flash on then off and the other stay on.

I did this and the lights worked like you said , but now fuse #6 for the aux hyd is blowing . It is mark PWM and my aux hyd stop working . Any ideas ????? I have order me a repair manual so maybe I can get some answers .

PWM Stands for pulse width modulation. This gives you proportional control of your aux hydraulics. Try unplugging the 2 aux coils on the hyd control valve and see if the fuse still fails. Check OHMs on the coils.

Thanks man I will try that and see what happens. I am thankful for the help no one else can seem help me . I just got another traction lock solenoid today will be putting it on tomorrow . I check everything and could not find anything wrong . I checked all the wires did not find anything wrong . I hope this one last more than a week .

Change traction lock relay before you burn out your new solenoid. Relay should be located above battery and is marked if you have an older SSL. Newer will be in cab with fuses.
