Don't be me: I got really close, but when I bought my 10K trailer I got it with a total deck length of 18ft, thinking it should be enough. Nope, I need at least 2ft more.
Typical load is a Kubota L2501, loaded tires, loader, toothbar (yeah its that tight that the toothbar makes a difference!), 5ft brush cutter. Weight is fine at 7300lbs. Tail wheel sticks off of the end of the trailer and ramps fold tight to the cutter. No room for adjustment, but both of my trucks can handled the tongue weight. Fortunately the tongue weight is a little heavy and it pulls nicely.
