TOTAL NEWBIE HERE - Brush Hog Question

I just inherited a grout pump machine. GS1000 Grout Pump | Probe Support Services

It has a Honda 5.5hp GX160 engine with a Parker D07AA2A-R hydraulic pump which has a displacement of 0.168 CU.IN./REV

I also have a 54in PTO cutting deck which I want to convert to a pull-behind ATV brush hog.

The hydraulic pump on the grout system has a 6Gal hydraulic reservoir and the Parker pump drives a piston type pump for the grout which spits out only 2.3gal/m at 1000psi

My question is:
What do I need to get in order to drive the cutting deck with that rig?
Or can I at all?

I know very little about hydraulic design. But I think a 5.5 hp engine is going to have a hard time turning a 54 inch deck no matter how you hook it up. I think I am right in saying generally a hydraulic drive system is not very efficient, so it's going to require even more horsepower with some sort of hydraulic drive.

Not sure what you want to cut - brush or grass, but for a 54 [in] deck, I'd want a minimum of 20 [hp] delivered to the deck (after losses).
This is based on running a 60" deck on a 26.5 [hp] PTO machine.

I have not idea what that grout pump is worth, all I know is when I have looked at grout pumps in the past they were pricy items,


but I would guess if it is in good shape one could sell that, and buy a new ATV mower out right,
