Torch Cart build

I want to build a new torch cart to replace the one I have now. I would like to see what others have built

Rather than build a torch only model, i built one that will hold my mig and stick welders along with mig gas, and oxy ace. Its a copy of miller's "Torch Runner". I own all my bottles, but it was designed to work with "full sized" leased bottles too. It works well, and is pretty nimble, despite its ungainly appearance.

Bigger wheels and relocating the axle for them to fit might do the trick for you.

I to just use a Hand Truck, No-Flat wheels are recommended.

For the movable hose hangar, I welded on a pipe nipple recessed a little, then used some pipe nipples and fittings so it can still be used as a Hand Truck.

SAFETY TIP: Secure the hoses towards the bottom on any cart with such a small footprint. If you tug or trip on the hoses the chances of tipping the cart and bottles over is greatly reduced by doing so.

I like Hand Truck's, so I made myself a bolt on bracket for my MIG, with slide in Milk crate for tools and a post for a Patio Umbrella and Extension Cords. Tool tray's could easily be added on the back not interfering with its use as a Hand Truck when needed.

The white Hand Truck is a Work In Progress portable Battery Charger/(Generator when a Dc->AC power inverter is used). Leaning against it is a Propane torch. A second Bracket is ordered for adding a second Alternator to it.

I will try to get pic the next time I visit the ranch. I found a old wheel chair with bad seat and back I cut the wheels of my cart and the cart just fit in the chair welded brackets to hold the old cart just off the floor. The bottles are very secure have to lower them in from the top but the can't fall over the hoses wrap around the chair handles and the brakes on the wheelea lock ithe chair where ever you stop it Its very easy to move on just about any surface.
