I picked up a new Toolcat brochure. Under features it mentioned several options including cab heat and a/c, radio/cd player, high flow, road and rear work light, back up alarm and horn, rear window gaurd, and attachment control kit. I didn't know your could also get keyless start system, driver's side suspension seat, floorboard riser kit and step kit. What is a floorboard riser it and step kit? Is there such a thing as a "gold package" like with skid steers?

Wish I could help you out more but all I can say is be careful about the brochure you get as it could be dated. Turned out all the brochures on the TC that my dealer had were about earlier series such as the C.

Educating my sales guy about TC's was an interesting experience but he picked up on the differences quickly and by the time I took delivery he was telling me about stuff that I was unaware of.

The floorboard riser kit and the step kit are both current "dealer-installed" options available for the Toolcat.

The floorboard riser kit is designed for customers who are "vertically challenged" or have smaller feet. It allows your feet to rest on the pedals with less fatigue. It has about a 1 hr install time, so I'm guessing there would be some drilling involved.

The step kit does not have an estimated install time so I am gussing it just slips on somewhere. I have not seen one (or pictures of one) so I have no idea how it functions.

The brochure was the latest. Pictures inside were of the D series.

It's interesting to hear there's a suspension seat option, I had heard that they were doing away with that with the 'D' because the vehicle suspension was so much smoother than previous models.

It wouldn't surprise me if the option is still available. It was used on all of the earlier toolcats and I suspect it is also used on skid steers that have the suspension seat option.
