I just purchased the 2009 toolcat 5600 and am hoping it's worth the money. I also have an rtv900 and am anxious to compare there performance when I go into wet ground near streams and marshes. I know that the Kubota will make it through most but I have doubts about the toolcat. Anyone out there with experience in saturated grounc? Steve

IMHO, it will do poorly in soft, muddy ground. In large part due to the tires. R4's are not good in mud due to tread design, the tire foot print is fairly small for the weight it carries and there is only about 9" of clearance on the TC. Once the bottom drags, the TC is done. I avoid most mud unless I have some speed and it is a relatively short run. I will say, the TC will do better in mud than a skid steer when it comes to turning or making a mess.
