Musical instrument repair technicians use them all the time. You can buy them from musical instrument repair supply companies.

I do not know what the one on the left is, I have used it as a fence pliers, but that is not the intent. Maybe it is a horse shoe tool, I do not know. The one on the right says Crate Opener, so that one I know.

The v in the handle is for holding the steel part that clamps on the wheel rim while using the cutter. It has a cutter on the opposing side. Hammer to beat them on. The plier jaws grab them so you can pull em off. The ends of the handles usually have a pointy one and a flat screwdriver one for poking and prying wheel weights. I don't know what you do with the hook thinger above the jaws. Maybe bend the ***** outta whatever you can hook it to? Never used that part.

So's you don't misunderstand; I'd NEVER use the word "Dyke" to refer to a lesbian. Any more than I'd use the "N" word (ending in either an a or r) to refer to a black person. It sounds and conotates ugly.

But I'm not watching what I say to be PC. When I need the dikes I ask my wife or whoever I'm working with if they have/saw them.

As soon as I can I'll post pictures of my unusual tools.

Terry, someday I am going to visit you just to see your shop and toys. I guess I wouldn’t mind meeting you as well.

In that case the key’s under the mat. Lock up when you’re done.

Retirement light? What is that? Sounds useful.

I don稚 know where the Retirement light description came from but according to the folks on the Vintage Machinery web sight, the Delta Original equipment work light typically furnished on their line up on bandsaws and jig saws is known as a 喪etirement light? They have a spun aluminum shade and are very useful in getting the .
illumination exactly where it痴 needed
Very useful for senior eyes.

What do you reckon it does for a living.?

I believe it is called a pin puller but my father-in-law said they call it a DOG D---. hook the open end over the head of a pin then the pry bar would grab the humps on the handle and pull the pin. used on the rail road.
