New Holland Boomer 24
So I finally got around to adding a tool box to my Boomer 24. A 50 cal ammo can fits on the back bumper behind the seat just fine. There were 2 holes in the bumper from the factory. Drilled holes in the can to match.

Now the question of the day.... what useful things to put in it?

Adjustable wrench (mainly to level 3 point implements)
Flash light
Zip ties
Duct tape
Shear pins and appropriate size wrench to change

What else?

Your list plus adjustable pliers, preferably one that can cut wire if need be, piece of tie wire, screwdriver with several tips in the handle, knife, gloves, hammer for lining up pins ?

Bug spray, safety glasses, face mask for dust, ?

Not sure what you do with your tractor or how far from the barn or house you work.

We have a horse farm. 18 acres so not too far from the house. However I don稚 like wasting time :)

Main use will be bush hog the pasture. Move horse manure and move hay.

Most of the ideas here are good. I値l have to find a hammer small enough to fit....

HF has a nifty short handled hammer. I bought one for my tiny GF, and she loves it.

I put a GI 45 cal ammo can on the fender of my previous tractor. Looked cool, held everything nicely and super weather tight. However, a problem developed - the can and tools weighed enough to cause the fender and ammo can to vibrate, shake and become a real PITA. I finally removed it before it could shake the fender off the tractor.

I live on 80 acres - its a pure rectangle - 1320' x 2640'. That means I can be half a mile from the house if I'm working up on the far end. One of the most important items I carry on my tractor - a nice big roll of toilet paper in a weather tight baggie.

I carry a set of open box end wrenches on my allis Chalmers. It is all sae. They are in a plastic pouch that I can roll up. The allis Chalmers has a nice tool box on the left side of the seat. Now ago was not thinking ahead with the new mf. There is no tool box. What were thinking???
