I HAVE A JD4005 AND CAN NOT FIND A GOOD PLACE TO PUT A TOOL BOX ON, ANY IDEA WHERE TO PUT ONE?

I have no idea myself Mate, but seeing as it's an option perhaps your local JD dealer would let you know where they would install it. :2cents:

Is the flat spot on top of the fenders large enough? That's where mine is on my 5045d.

Mine is a much smaller unit but I made a bracket to mount my toolbox behind the seat and works great and is out of the way of the 3pt in full up as well.
